be prepared to view one of the most fun weddings, bride and groom and wedding party EVER! i have such a sweet spot in my heart for jess and joey. these two are my baby brother’s best friends. I’ve known joey for probably close to 15 years now since thats how long he and my bro, brad,  have been best friends. And i was lucky enough to meet the BEAUTIFUL jess because she and brad are considered ‘besties’ too. Once they told me they wanted me to photograph their wedding, i was over the moon excited. I knew it would be beautiful and fun.. and let me tell you, they didn’t disappoint.

i was pretty obsessed with her dress.. it’s so absolutely gorgeous. oh jess… You. Are. STUNNING!i adore this sweet shot of jess and her wonderful mama.then it was wedding time! You’re MARRIED!!!i’m a sucker for men in tuxes.. so dapper!

the bouquets and bouts were made by jess’s mom! i was blown away by her talent! ps.. see the lock and key?such a dang good looking group of people!and probably one of the most fun wedding parties EVER!! my cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling so much with them all day. (see the guy in the back, jumping? thats my baby brother)girls were WERKING the camera!and as i was working w the girls, i turned around to see joey and the guys dancing w the bouquets. lolDAYUM you guys are HOT!!!i’m telling you, these two have so much fun together.. always always laughing and smiling. you know whats even sweeter about these photos? check out mom and dad in the photo on the right.. father daughter dances get me every time. and this one was no different. so sweet. joey, your mama loves you so much.i had to include this photo.. these four.. joey and his 3 best friends.. they have a friendship that just warms my heart. a decade and a half and they are just as close as ever. And they are just the nicest guys;  they’d do anything for each other and they’ve all been in each others weddings this spring (with the exception of brad, he is not married). i hope you guys stay friends forever. have i mentioned yet that they love to dance?because they do… a lot.

jess and joey.. your wedding was beautiful and so so fun. thank you for trusting me to capture your special day, i’m truly honored. i adore you both, duh. xxJBZ

how they met, as told by jess:

We were both working at Urban Active Fitness in Beavercreek at the Greene; Joey as a personal trainer and myself as the customer service manager for the gym.
I was standing in the sales office and caught Joey pointing at me from the weight floor with one of his clients.  As soon as he saw that I caught him, he immediately turned away with embarrassment.
I had never spoken to him before so when he was done with his session with that client I went down and asked him why he was pointing at me.
He said that his client had asked him who he thought was the most beautiful girl in the gym. : )

the proposal:

We decided to go on our first trip together to Key West.  Joey brought up the idea that it would be fun to get professional pictures done while we were there as well. So we sought out a photographer and had them scheduled for Sunday at Sunset.

When we got to the airport he called her to double check everything but wouldn’t let me near him when he was on the phone with her.  I thought it was strange but didn’t really think anything of it.

The day came for us to get the pictures done and it poured all day long.  Joey was freaking out and I kept trying to calm him down saying we could just change the day and get the pictures done later in the week etc, but he wasn’t satisfied with that.

We got ready anyway in hopes that it would stop raining and as we left the hotel, the sky cleared.  During the pictures, the photographer asked us if we had a pose we wanted to try.  Joey spoke up immediately and stood in front of me holding my hands.

He then proceeded to tell me how much he loved me and couldn’t live without me and then got down on one knee and proposed!

most memorable part of your day:  when we set off the wish lantern together. It was a really cool feeling watching it and being alone with jess but still surrounded by everything.

funniest memory from your wedding day: Michael Coale (Jess’s Dad)  lip syncing with the family. Showed us what we’re getting into!

any advice for future brides and grooms: Communication is everything. Without opening channels of communication, it will put stress on the relationship.

if you could do it all over, would you change anything: no, everything that happened made it what it was

best part about being married (so far!):  freedom from stress and the comfort we feel together

where did you honeymoon: Bucuti and Tara Resort in Aruba!
