Lillian+Everett are ONE! | Columbus Baby Photography

Baby photography is so fun. Even more fun when i get to watch these babies grow! everyone knows i love photographing newborns and its such a joy to do their one year photos to see how they’ve grown, changed or stayed the same. I cannot believe these beauty-full babies are a year old already. You all remember the twins, right? How perfectly adorable and tiny and squishy they were. They’re a year old! And they’ve got distinctly different and BIG personalities. And they show through these photos so well. Lily is a total ham and crazy fast, does not want to sit still, always laughing and smiling. Everett is a little more chill, more serious, taking things in. Both are just too cute for words. I had so much fun with them, i didn’t want to leave. My face and abs hurt so much from just laughing with them non stop. and they’re off! i love this one.. everett definitely made me work for his smiles where lily loved me from the minute i arrived. lolhaha SUPER BABIES!

lauren and jason, i just love you all to pieces. you know i do. and your babies absolutely melt me. big love to you all!! xxJBZ

best moment/memory so far:

E: when he shot a newborn poop across the nursery. Jason had to strip and wash everything and it took the whole time between feedings. Lily and i slept thru the whole thing.
L: lily had colic and bad reflux as an infant. she was rarely happy when she was awake. the first time she smiled and laughed brought a happy tear to my eye.

advice for new parents on surviving the first year:

make sure you have a crock pot and easy recipes to throw together. Its the only way we ate a warm meal.

favorite foods right now:

E: turkey, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, puffs, cheerios, hot dogs

L: watermelon, puffs, bananas, anything in a pouch, grilled cheese, mac and cheese

least favorite foods right now:

E: whatever he’s not in the mood for at the time

L: vegetables

one baby item you couldnt live without:

i have three.. sorry, not sorry.. pottery barn glider/rocker. i can’t tell you have many hours we/i have clocked in that thing. the baby channel (gasp!). a cleaning lady

biggest first year struggle:

its a three way tie between three months without sleep, feeling like a single parents because there are two babies and no one to switch off to, and getting them both to bed at night by yourself. Phew!

proudest first year moment/accomplishment/etc:

listing, showing, selling a house, buying a new house, packing, celebrating the twins first Christmas, taking down Christmas, and moving three days after christmas with two six month old babies and a dog.
