Birth photography is so absolutely amazing and its such an honor when someone wants you to be there to capture this enormous event in their lives, even more so when one of them is a photographer. This is the second birth I’ve photographed for the Crosses and it was no less amazing than the first (you can see big brother Andrew’s birth here). Claire has been ready to meet baby Albie for weeks now, but i kept hoping she would hold out until the scheduled date of June 1st. She’d been having contractions for a while but she made it, a full two weeks longer than big brother. Albie came in screaming at 9:01a, weighing in at just under seven and a half pounds, 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.5 inches long. He has a head full of dark hair that you will see in the photos below. He’s cute as a button with his perfectly round head and pretty pink skin. He’s a champ at nursing right off the bat. I already love this kid so much. There is so much more i could say here but there are a lot of photos below so i’ll let them speak for themselves. Enjoy!
this kid loves to stick his tongue out.look at all that hair!!!these next two are some of my faves from the day. how sweet is that face?!the emotions ran even higher when it was time for big brother Andrew to come meet his baby brother.. how sweet is this?! melt!as any two year old does, andrew was sidetracked by being able to see so many cars and trucks from up high.i adore this image.. it totally makes me smile.. i love how mom and dad are looking lovingly at their two sweet boys, and Andrew is looking lovingly at his chocolate chip cookie. HA! i feel you andrew, that cookie looked amaze!when it was time for andrew (and the rest of us) to go, claires emotions hit their limit and she started bawling. Little Andrew can’t stand to see his mama cry and got right up there and was wiping her tears. It was quite possibly one of the sweetest things i’ve ever seen.
Claire, you did amazing!! Congrats to you and B on your newest little bundle, i couldn’t be happier for you!! I wish you all the best and good luck on adjusting to a new family of TWO BOYS! i love you guys so much!
