Another sweet baby!!! AHH! Meet Maximus. One of the sweetest little guys I ever did meet. I literally gasped and did a little dance when I got the text asking if I would do his newborn photography session. Russ and Andrea have been waiting and waiting for this little guy, and I’d say he was definitely worth the wait. He was so cuddly and perfect, I just wanted to take him home. He woke up in the middle of his session and wanted to party a little, so we stuck on his little Wild Thing booties and let him. I mean, that little face! Melt!Russ was absolutely adorable with him. And Max looks even tinier when Russ his holding him, since, you know, Russ is the tallest guy I know. oh max, your cheeks just make me wanna nibble you up!Andrea, you are so beautiful! you guys, from the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you thank you for trusting me with these special images. I’m truly honored! love you guys! xxJBZ
this family. its hard to put into words how much I love them and how honored I am to get to photograph them. As a photographer herself, faye knows lots of talented photographers so, it means a lot that I get to capture these moments in time for them. Faye is my person; I’m ‘fraunt Jenny” to the girls and she’s “fraunt faye” to savvy; andy’s like a brother to me and sometimes we fight like it (monopoly is a banned board game for us). We’ve vacationed together, laughed and cried together and been there thru the loss of loved ones. these people mean as much to me as family. Enjoy some of my favorites from our time togethers.
anytime andy smiles like this is a win in my book. I wanted to make sure I got a couple of just the two of them.. and then andy said something wildly inappropriate and we both busted up laughing.. I don’t know how faye looks so put together here. but I often think andy is hilarious when she doesn’t just like she thinks JJ is hilarious when I don’t. lolI love you guys. thats all. you know that. duh. xxJBZ
I have been so looking forward to sharing these photos with you. I photographed Kara’s senior photos a *few* years ago back when I was at the studio in beavercreek. we’ve kept in touch via social media ever since and I’ve become quite obsessed with her adorable little lady. So I was absolutely over the moon when she asked me about doing their family photography session and Alylah’s one year images! this baby girl is so full of spunk and she’s one of the cutest babies I’ve ever met. also, this girl has more hair than I do. she definitely got allllll those Italian genes.
We started out in Alylah’s birthday outfit. how freaking perfect is this? kara couldnt find just the perfect tutu so she made this herself. its amazing. I might need her to make savvy one for her birthday!
daddy is so absolutely adorable with her. always sneaking in kisses. you can tell these two are pretty smitten with their girl. gahhhh! she was so full of the cutest smiles. I just wanted to take her home!that ponytail! this is my fave, I think. I just love it so much, and lylah’s sweet profile. I also love how her pony looks like the perfect little baby bun here.
kara and Brendon, thank you guys so much for trusting me with capturing this special time in your lives. i adore you all. especially that sweet baby girl! xxJBZ
Meet Nick! He was so much fun hanging out with a few weeks ago on an unseasonably warm October day. He was such a good sport as I made a fool of myself (as per yuje) to get those perfect smiles out of him. we did a few family photos during our time together too, which is such a good idea. And I totally wanted to take their doggie home with me.we were desperate to find some pretty fall color, the leaves changed so late this year! so when I found this, I about died. its one of my faves for sure.the arches at st. Charles are my favvvvve. I love them so much.this is another one of my favorites. I just love all the lines!
Nick!! I had a blast with you! Thanks for putting up w me! 😉 and hey! you’re on a blog!! enjoy the rest of your senior year and good luck in college!! xxJBZ
my sweet beautiful girl is 9 months old. 39 weeks. (I promise I’ll stop counting in weeks once she hits a year). this time has absolutely flown by. and I haven’t shared a savvy post since her baptism which was just after she turned 6 months! soooooo thats three months work of photos to catch up on.. I tried to narrow it down as much as possible but, you see, I take A LOT of photos of my girl. I truly cannot help it. she lights up our world. she has so many different expressions, not to mention all of her adorable outfits. so, I want to apologize in advance but at the same time I really don’t. she’s super cute and who are we kidding, this is more of an easy way for me to come back and find photos of her down the line, and for family who lives far away to see how much she’s grown. so, jumping right in.. we’re starting off right where we left off.. just after she turned 6 months old. this is the day she got her ears pierced, she dressed up for the special occasion. savvy ADORES Molly girl. she loves her so much. always reaching out to pet her or touch her feet, she giggles when Molly chases her tail or scratches herself, and she even waves to her when she comes into the room.
this is one of my most favorite images of savannah so far. I adore everything about it, but mostly – her eyes! this is one of my favorite headbands from Aubrey Gianna. And this romper was totally a favorite outfit this summer from Bailey’s Blossoms_, I’m totally doing to order it again for next summer. I mean, look at the back!? so cute!and I always try to coordinate outfits with my girl when I can.these next three photos were from our family photo session with the talented Faye Sommer_… thank you again so much faye faye for capturing these for us! xxthis is bun-bun. savvy’s most favorite thing in the world. I don’t know what we’d do without it. she loves bun bun so so much. its adorable to see.savvy had some friends come over for a quick visit.sometimes after bath night I mohawk her hair and let it dry that way. its my fave.Savvy went on her first flight at the end of September.. I’m hoping to do a whole post on our Florida trip but I wanted to include a couple here.. Hi Auntie Linz and Uncle Chris!!blue is so her color.another favorite outfit that we almost didn’t get to wear because the 3-6 month size range was the majority of savvy’s wardrobe. It was hard to get all those cute outfits in when the temps were appropriate. auntie Mandy and cousin Nolan came for an afternoon visit. Nolan and savvy love each other so much. its adorable to see. Savvy went to the zoo for the first time a couple weeks ago. Nolan showed her all the good spots.riding on a train at chuck e cheese. she loved it and was on it for quite a while.and she was a strawberry for halloween! no beggars night this year, she goes to bed at 6, right when it began. so maybe next year.savvy officially started crawling on halloween. and now that she can crawl and get to a sitting position all by herself, she moves around in her crib way more than before. she’ll sit up and play with her pac and her lovey for a while before falling asleep. I saw on the monitor that she had put her head down and I was going to just go lay her on her back again. I didn’t realize she had actually fallen asleep like that. it was too cute not to photograph. but then I moved her to a more comfy position.
and just like that, she’s 9 months old. andddddd today was try three with peanut snacks, and I’m happy to report, we still haven’t had a reaction. lets hope it stays that way.
happy 9 months baby girl. we love you so so much. I hope you always remember that.
