    Hi and welcome! I'm jenny (obvi) and i'm so happy you're here. i am a portrait and wedding photographer in columbus, ohio. my absolute favorite thing to photograph is love. couples in love, new mommies and daddies in love with their newest bundle of joy, brides and grooms in love about to walk down the aisle. anything involving love. who doesnt love love, right?

    here on the blog you'll find some of my favorite images from recent sessions and weddings of my clients, family and friends. you'll also probably find some personal posts from our large family get togethers or cute pictures of my dogs. because i love my dogs. a lot.

getting to photograph families over and over, year after year, is something I absolutely love. I love getting to see families grow, and the littles grow! I’ve known Kara and Rob for a lot of years now and truly adore them. But throw little Johnny into the mix, and I’m absolutely smitten. He’s such a sweetie pie and his blue eyes just melt me! I’m keeping this short and sweet because I know they’ve been waiting to see these photos and I want to hurry and get them posted!

Meet Jenna and Sam.. One of the cutest couples ever and this is one of my most favorite engagement photography sessions ever. Jenna is another one of my former cheerleaders that I used to coach. And since then I’ve photographed her family a number of times over the years. And I CANNOT wait to photograph their wedding coming up in just under 2 weeks! These two laughed thru pretty much their entire session and it was easy to see they were made for each other. And I got to meet their two sweet pups, Snow and Cash, both of whom I just wanted to take home with me, the big sweeties!

The serious expression does not come naturally or easily to jenna, she always starts to giggle.. she’s been that way since she was in middle school! but, when she nails it, ugh, stunnnnnning!

we went to one of my favorite spots and the light was just gorgeous. I loved how it kept lighting up Jenna’s hair! the wind cooperated that day too and kept lifting her hair in just the most perfect way. this is one of my most favorite photos, look at how they smile at each other! Melt!

I first met Andrea when she was just a little girl who lived around the corner from us as a friend of my sister’s who I eventually babysat. Fast forward a *few* years and I get a message from Andrea saying she loves following my blog and she can’t wait for her turn. And then, it finally was. I was so happy when I got the email that she’d gotten engaged and was hoping I was available for her wedding photography. I first met Doug at their engagement session and just knew right away these two were meant for each other. You can see how much Doug absolutely adores her whenever he looks at her. And its obvious the feeling is the same with Andrea. Their wedding was at the beautiful Marmelade Lily outside of Cincinnati and we had a beautiful day to work with.
