You guys, you’re about to see one of the cutest couples ever. I’ve known Lindsay since she was in 6th or 7th grade when I was her cheerleading coach!! So many of my cheerleaders are getting married and having babies and I’m in serious denial about it! I was over the moon excited when I got the email asking about wedding photography from Lindsay. She’s one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever known and what a beautiful bride she’s going to be!! I loved getting to see her and Joe interact, because boy does he light up when he looks at her. columbus-oh-engagement-photography-010 I love this image with our city in the background! lovvvvvve!!!!how pretty is Lindsay’s blonde hair?! another fave!! I have so many favorites from this session, it was very hard to choose!!

Meet Andrea and Doug! Andrea has been following my blog for a long time waiting for her turn to be on it so I was so excited to get the message that they were engaged and hoping I could do their engagement and wedding photography! What an honor! I’ve actually known Andrea for a number of years, since she was little. Her family lived just around the corner from us, she used to play with my sister and I would babysit her and her little brother. They moved to Indiana and I haven’t seen her in a really long time, but she’s actually exactly like I remember. Sweet and sassy all rolled into one. And these two together, talk about cute! Doug is clearly smitten with her and very excited to get married. I’m really looking forward to their sweet wedding this summer down in Cincinnati.Ending things with my favorite!!! You guys are the cutest!

helllooooooo everyone!! its my absolute pleasure to introduce my blog to our newest sweet niece, baby Journee. She made her arrival at 11:03a on April 11, 2017, weighing in at 7lbs 15.4 oz and 20.5inches long. She’s Savvy’s first cousin on the Zink side and makes niece number 5 for JJ and I. Its still crazy to me that our littlest brother has a baby girl, but Kyle is already smitten and has fallen into his role as daddy very easily. And you all know how crazy I am about newborn photography-i couldnt WAIT to get her in the studio!

Sweet girl put up a little fight with me when we first started the session (just like her daddy, not a fan of me taking so many photos I guess) but once she fell into a deep sleep, she slept like a dream and I couldnt stop photographing her! She’s cuddly and sweet and so pretty and has given me serious baby fever. abby, you are beautifulllllll!I adore this image of Kyle and his baby girl. Ryder adores his new baby sister and always wanted to help out when mommy was feeding her.those lips! those cheeks!! gahhhhh! How sweet is this? Ryder at first wanted nothing to do with having his photo taken, but once he was ready, he turned it way up. how beautiful is this mama?! she just had a baby 11 days ago!

you guys, thank you for trusting me with sweet Jojo’s first photo session. It was an honor and a privilege to get to photograph another of my baby nieces. She’s beautiful and perfect and I’m so excited to watch her grow up. Congrats to you both! xxJBZ

heyyyyyyy friends! I know its been a while since I posted a blog but I’m so happy to be back and what a good one to come back to! Its no secret I adore this family, and they’re no strangers to the blog! I’ve been doing their family photography since Will was just an infant! I’m so honored to be able to keep capturing this beautiful family as they grow! The boys are so fun and so dang cute! I cannot believe how big Jacob has gotten since his newborn session! He’s so happy and smiley and he loved me. lol The feeling was more than mutual of course. He also adores his big brother, its so cute to watch them interact. Jacob just laughs and laughs at big brother Will.look at those little baby toofers!
This is my favorite I think, I love how mama is looking at her sweet baby boy, and he’s just so happy! that smile! It wasnt easy to get one of both of these crazy boys together and both smiling and I know thats what mama really wanted. Will really made me work for it, we were near a playground and he had much better things he wanted to be doing. We ended with Jacobs first time on a swing, and he lovvvvvved it!

Savvy is One – a blush and champagne birthday party!

I have been both so excited and absolutely dreading my baby girl turning one. I want her to stay little forever but its so fun watching her grow. As soon as I first thought about her first birthday party, I knew I wanted it to be all blush and champagne. A toned down version of all the pink and gold you always see. I found the perfect champagne colored glitter so I bought a bunch and got to mod podging things. Then I went to Etsy to search for everything my heart desired. lol I’m really pleased with how everything turned out. It all looked just how I had envisioned it. All my desserts turned out amazing (I made chocolate covered oreos, brownies, the best chocolate chip cookies ever, cupcakes, cake pops and savvy’s cake) and the food was all great too. We kept it to just family since we were having it at home and we just didn’t have the room for all of our friends even tho I had a ton of invites and so badly wanted to invite everyone. Tons of food too! Here are the highlights from Savannah’s blush and champagne first birthday party!

I bought plain boring frames and made them pretty using Mod Podge and the amazing glitter I mentioned earlier. Did the same with the glittered “1” and “O-N-E” and the “1” candle on Savvy’s cake.
